It has been about a year since I reached Insane Kaiden. This was my last objective as a BMS player but I'm not quite bored of the game yet.
The reason being that there are still thousands of charts left to discover (until last year all I did was play tables) and I still want to make BMS.
In this article I will be introducing charts almost nobody but me has ever beaten.
I will be using terms like "world first" here but first of all this is merely based off of data from LR2IR, and second of all rest assured that if you could get nyannurs or tobybm1018 or whoever the fuck else to play they could likely get any of these scores easily I think so it's not like I'm trying to pretend I am the most elite BMS Music Script player of all time or whatever.
A classic rasugoroshi chart from sun3.
This is the score I'm the most happy about so I'm putting it here first. It's really unfortunate that I can't record a replay since I used GBattle which breaks replays (and as you can see I didn't raise my score so the replay available on IR is one where I failed).
At first it looks like the most inoffensive 195BPM chordstream chart, but the very last 5 seconds come at you with super crazy scratches and jacks.
We're far from lifework levels of impossible but going off the LR2IR comments this chart was genuinely thought to be impossible to beat, so I think I earned myself the right to boast about this forever.
By the way there is also a harder version of this chart (Black-ANOTHER7) but I think this one is genuinely and literally impossible.
I love basically every single chart yuyuko has ever made but if you asked me to say which is my favorite it's either this or quinine (LUNATIC).
Because it's a packaged charts a fair amount of people have played it, and a bunch of gorillas have gathered on LR2IR and yet Argentum0(super crazy player) and me are the only ones with hard clears.
The density goes down a notch at the end so it's fair to rate it a ★★2 in terms of easy gauge but
the middle part has truly insane stair and scratch action that makes hard gauge extremely difficult. Badchaining once is enough to kill a run in 2 seconds.
Measure 56 is probably the most difficult. As short as it is, 32th scratches at 160BPM is definitely pushing human limits, and it's not like you can ignore what's happening on the keys...
osage reinterpreting the legendary rasugoroshi chart (again?) "ZEUS for technician" on ZEUS+1.
Much like the packaged chart ZEUS+1[鬼] 170BPM jacks falling on 1 and 7 are what makes this chart what it is. At this speed the only way to hit the jacks is by vibrating your hand so I had no choice but to move the jacks to 1 and 2.
Right now I can only manage an easy clear but if I were to improve at chordstreaming and pull another random like this I think I could squeeze out a hard clear.
Ending the article with a chart of mine.
This is an infernal 4-minute chordstream, jacks, scratch and soflan marathon.
It's not only long, but you will also most likely want to gear chain during the soflan parts. (the gameplay video above uses an online replay so this is not reflected but I did pull the lane cover down)
Also the blue jacks at the end are quite evil and will definitely get you at least on a sightread run.
I remember hex retrying this chart for a while on their stream but I don't think they ever made it to this part.
If they had failed there the reaction would have most likely been incredible.
…now that I think about it this really is just blatant self-promotion isn't it.
Thank you for reading. I'm really happy I managed to finally finish an article and post it.
I'm not sure if anyone was expecting anything from this blog but if you did I'm sorry it took 5 months to get on tracks.
I'd like to turn this into a series if possible but as you can guess finish charts to talk about is going to be difficult...
